Prior to combining his practice with BA, Inc. in January of 2018, Jim was the principal of his own CPA and consulting firm, James W. Parker, CPA, PC, which he founded over 20 years ago. Jim has a wide range of accounting and tax expertise with individual clients and small to medium size businesses in a wide range of industries. He is also a HUD Certified Occupancy Specialist and has specialized in the audits of multi-family housing projects and other governmental work for over 20 years. Prior to starting his own firm, Jim spent a decade working with a local public accounting firm. He is a licensed CPA and is a member of both the American Institute of CPA’s and the Mass Society of CPA’s. Jim earned his BS in Accounting and an AS in Management from Bentley University.
